Your vault is encrypted on your own phone or computer before it ever leaves. Our servers only see scrambled data, and we hold no key to unscramble it.

Through a licensed Aadhaar e-KYC provider
Every beneficiary must sign in with Aadhaar OTP before viewing the assets you assigned to them, so no one can impersonate them. Legal validity of the will comes from signing the printed copy in front of two witnesses, under the Indian Succession Act 1925.
A recovery window you choose
Ask to delete your account and it deactivates at once, then it is scheduled for permanent erasure after a recovery window you pick, from 2 to 48 hours. Change your mind in that time? Just sign back in and the deletion is cancelled. Once the window passes, everything you recorded is erased from our servers, backups included, with no way to bring it back.

The people who inherit your estate. You record them once, then link them to assets.
Aadhaar required for every beneficiary, so only they can sign in on the claim portal. Pick from 18 relationships. Shares per asset must sum to 100%.

WillWolf is a digital estate vault and online will platform for Indian families. You record your assets, beneficiaries, executors and final wishes, and generate a will. Your vault records are encrypted inside your browser before they reach us, so only you can read them.
You can start free. Basic is free for life and lets you record up to 10 assets. Paid plans raise the cap: Moderate covers up to 25 assets at ₹999 per year, Premium up to 50 assets at ₹1,499 per year, and Customised covers 50 assets and above at ₹4,999 per year. Paid plans are billed once a year. If a paid plan expires back to free, older assets over the cap are locked until you re-upgrade or delete newer ones, but nothing is ever deleted. Your family is never charged to unlock what you leave behind.
Yes. The will follows the format required under the Indian Succession Act 1925 and the personal succession law that applies to you. Once you sign the printed will in the presence of two witnesses over 18, it is legally valid and can be probated in an Indian court.
Real estate, vehicles, valuables, household goods, financial assets, retirement and insurance, and intellectual property, along with the beneficiaries, executors, guardians and witnesses tied to them. You can then generate a will from everything you have recorded.
You can create a vault and record assets without Aadhaar. Aadhaar OTP verification is used in two places: when you generate the final will, so it holds up in an Indian court, and later when a beneficiary you have named signs in to open what you left for them. If you do not have Aadhaar, you can still record everything and print an unsigned draft, but the verified version needs it. Every beneficiary you add MUST have an Aadhaar, because it is what lets them sign in on the claim portal and open only what you assigned them; a beneficiary cannot be saved without one.
Yes. WillWolf is built around Indian succession law and covers your Indian bank accounts, property, investments and other assets, so NRIs can record and protect everything they hold in India from anywhere in the world.
A do-it-yourself will usually loses the details that matter most: the specific bank branch, the demat DP ID, the co-owner shares. A lawyer captures them but does not encrypt or store them for you. WillWolf gives you the structured fields, the encrypted storage and the will generation in one place, and only you can read what is inside your vault. Because your assets stay saved, it gives you the flexibility to generate a will at any time with no need to revisit all the assets again.
No. Your vault contents are encrypted inside your own browser before they ever leave your device, and what reaches us is unreadable data we hold no key for. Our staff cannot read your vault, and a breach on our side cannot expose it. Basic contact fields (your name, email, phone) are held under a separate lock our servers can open only for real reasons, like sending you a notification or running an identity check.
At sign-up you also create a private recovery sentence, and optionally a hint. To reset a forgotten master password you confirm a one-time code, then enter that sentence, and you set a new password and a new sentence together. Your vault contents survive intact throughout. Whenever your password or recovery sentence is changed we alert you on whichever contact you have registered, email or sms or both, so you know straight away if it was not you. Your master password and recovery sentence stay in your browser and never reach our servers, so if both are lost, nobody can recover the vault, including us.
If you lose both, your vault cannot be recovered by anyone, including us. This is the honest cost of true end-to-end encryption: because we can never read your vault, we can never reset it for you either. Keep your recovery sentence safe.
Yes, within your recovery window. When you delete your account it deactivates right away and is scheduled for permanent erasure after a window you choose, from 2 to 48 hours. Sign back in before it ends and the deletion is cancelled, and your account is active again. Once the window passes, the erase is permanent and cannot be reversed by anyone, including us.
Yes. WillWolf supports English and Hindi from day one, and works on the web and as an installable app on iPhone and Android.
